Description
This is a set of five place settings of high-quality Japanese stainless steel silverware in a rare vintage pattern. This flatware set was made by Oneida and the pattern is unnamed, referenced as OHS93.
Each piece has the Achievement, 18-8 stainless, and Japan backstamp. The pattern is rare and has been discontinued. The backstamp helps us date this set to the early 1960s.
The handles made such a design statement! The edges have a wave-like quality, and a pair of flowers are embossed at the top of each handle. Each item has a high gloss shine.
This flatware has quality, design, and function. They just don't make them like this anymore.
The flatware has been *CLEANED* and polished to a high shine. These are in excellent vintage condition, with some signs of use and light scuffing. No issues with the tines were observed. They are in really great condition.
Service for five, each place setting has the following 7 pieces (see photos):
- Knife
- Dinner fork
- Salad fork
- Soup spoon
- Tea spoon
- Long handled tea spoon
- Small cocktail fork
The matching serving utensil set is available in a separate listing.
