About Us
Growing up, my mom and her best friend ran a wedding flowers business, and I was often there helping where I could, learning by watching, and absorbing the quiet magic of creating something beautiful for other people’s milestones.
In college, I worked at a florist in my hometown, deepening that connection to flowers as both craft and care.
After college, my path shifted. I moved to the big city and built a career in technology. I built and eventually sold my technology business. When that chapter closed, I wanted to return to something more tangible - work that made people happy.
Figgi's first iteration was a clothing company focused on addressing sizing concerns for women. At the time, I was producing polyester blouses and working with a manufacturer in China. The process was filled with roadblocks, and ultimately, it didn’t work.
But it taught me lessons.
Through that experience, I learned firsthand about synthetic fabric content, offshoring, and the many tradeoffs embedded in mass production - environmental, ethical, and creative. Those lessons forced me to pause and reassess what I wanted to build, and why.
Figgi is the result of that reflection.
Today, we are rebuilding a brand rooted firmly in our values. We are working our way back to small-batch, custom-sized clothing made in the United States, using natural fibers and thoughtful production methods. Alongside flowers, slow goods, and vintage, this approach reflects a belief in quality, care, and longevity.
Why We Exist
In a world built around speed, disposability, and excess, we choose a slower path. We believe the things we live with matter - how they’re made, how long they last, and how they make us feel in our everyday lives.
Through flowers, we create small, unexpected moments of delight. Through slow goods, we invest in well-made pieces designed to be used and kept. Through vintage, we reclaim craftsmanship and give meaningful objects a second life.
Our goal is not to sell more, but to offer better.
We curate beauty that feels thoughtful, lasting, and human. Things that earn a place in your home and become part of your story. Moments that bring joy you return to over and over.
