This is a complete 5-piece place setting place setting of vintage silver plate flatware in the Memory-Hiawatha pattern by International Silver made in 1937 and manufactured by WM Rogers.

This silverware pattern is characterized by its streamlined, transitional Art Moderne design with clean, elongated handles, graceful taper, mirror finish, and smooth flowing lines characteristic of the late 1930s transition period.

This is a versatile pattern that works well with both formal and casual table settings.

The pattern's name "Memory-Hiawatha" references Longfellow's poem "The Song of Hiawatha," though the design itself doesn't incorporate obvious Native American motifs. This design is representative of the streamlined aesthetic popular in the late 1930s.

All items have been cleaned, washed, buffed, and polished. Tarnish has been removed and through polishing we have restored high gloss shine. All items are in very good condition with some minor dings, slightly imperfect tines, and scuffing even after buffing and polishing. These are in remarkable condition for being from the 1930s and are still not only useable, but impressive looking.
