Borel was a French silversmith company that produced high-quality sterling silver tableware, including pepper mills and salt shakers. These items reflect impeccable craftsmanship and timeless style.

I have seen this same exact set with the addition of a Tiffany & Co mark. This set does NOT carry the Tiffany & Co mark, but it seems likely that Tiffany imported this exact set, added their mark, and sold them in their stores.

The design of these items is so very cool. The core is wood and the outside is clad with sterling silver. Both the salt shaker and peppermill are in perfect working order.

The set has been thoroughly cleaned. Both items have been polished to restore their original luster while preserving their vintage charm.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition with little signs of wear consistent with age. The two notable signs of wear are a spot of rust on the bottom of the grinder which should hopefully improve with use and a slight dent in the bottom of the salt shaker.
